Installation at the Student Exhibition At Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo - 2022

Table is a surface which holds objects and ideas together. It is a physical and conceptual container. It is an elevated datum where human interaction synthesises culture. My installation ‘Table-Sphere’ uses deconstruction as a strategy to unleash the unseen forces that maintain this furniture. The fragmented and sloped surface of the table is no more functional, but the level of wine in the glasses reestablishes a fragile equilibrium and invites a negotiation on a new datum line.
